New sportier versions of Altroz and Tiago EV are introduced by Tata Motors at Auto Expo 2023. The Altroz gets a new trim called Altroz Racer and the Tiago EV’s new version is known as Tiago EV Blitz. Tiago EV Blitz

The Tiago EV Blitz gets new cosmetic exterior changes, the bumpers of the hatchback are now sportier and new black finished alloy wheels are added which enhance the side profile of the car. Tiago EV Blitz also gets a roof-mounted black finished spoiler and revised side skirts. The most eye-catching new element the Tiago EV Blitz has is the flared wheels arched that are finished in a contrasting black finish. These give the car a sportier look and distinguish road presence.

Altroz Racer

The Altroz Racer gets some serious sports cosmetics. The showcased unit of Altroz Racer was in a classic red finish. The bonnet, pillar, and roof of the car were covered in a glossy black finish. The Altroz Racer gets a black-painted spoiler on top of the boot lid and racing stripes on the bonnet. The alloy wheels are also new and are enhancing the design of the side profile. Overall, the exterior of the Altroz Racer looks completely after-market and sporty.

The Altroz Racer is more powerful than its other variants, it carries a more powerful 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine which produces 118 bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque, this is 10 bhp and 30 Nm more than the Altroz turbo-petrol variant. Tata has not stated whether these sportier variants will go into production, but we can anticipate that the enhanced features from the Altroz will eventually make their way into the hatchback’s standard model.
