The EV segment is growing fast in India. Recently a Mumbai-based start-up company known as PMV launched its cheapest electric car called PMV Electric EaS-E. This car is more of a quadricycle car and it only has two seats. The starting price of EaS-E is Rs. 4.79 lakhs and it is one of the cheapest electric cars in the country. The booking of the PMV EaS-E has already started and a few first customers can book this car for only a small token amount of Rs. 2,000.

The delivery of this EV will start in mid-2023.

The booking numbers of this EV are increasing day by day. The features list of this car is very long considering its price. Being a 2-seater this car has one seat in front for the driver and the 2nd seat is in the back on which one adult and a kid can travel.

The looks and design of EaS-E are futuristic. The PMV company provides a warranty of 3 years or 50,000km on this car. This EV has 4 doors for easy access from both sides. Due to its small size, this EV is very easy to drive, and finding a parking space for this car would not be a problem.

Battery and Range

The PMV EaS-E has a 48V lithium-ion battery pack that powers its electric motor which produces 13hp of power and 50Nm of torque. The top speed of EaS-E is 70kmph and it can do 0 to 40kmph in just 5 seconds. According to the PMV company, this mini EV will cost you 75 paise per kilometer. Talking about the range of this car, the top model of EaS-E will run up to 200kms on a single full charge, while the lower model will go up to 120kms on a single full charge. The charging time of EaS-E is 4 hours from 0 to 100%.
