2. Interior Updates

On the inside, the 2024 Toyota Vellfire gets a new steering wheel, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, and a fully digital driver’s display. The dashboard now has a cleaner look, the climate and audio controls have been moved to the infotainment system and the start/stop button which in the India-spec model is on the right side closer to the door has been moved to the left top behind the steering wheel. The design of the AC vents is also changed, the vents are now positioned horizontally.

3. Rear Seat Experience

As a luxury MPV, the Vellfire is expected to provide top-notch comfort and space at the rear. The older version of the Vellfire had enough space and comfort in the back so the 2024 model’s rear seats don’t require much changes. In 2024 Vellfire you get powered second-row seats with a powered ottoman and ample space. Plus, an option for rear seat entertainment screens and chauffeur controls. The 2024 Vellfire has expanded the room for the second and third rows by 5mm and 10mm, respectively, with the goal of improving rear seat comfort. The second-row headrests now have a new design, and the controls for the second-row passengers are now located on little screens on their armrests. The casing for the AC vents in the back seats is likewise larger and extends to the third row. Additionally, all of the Vellfire’s rear AC vents are located inside the temperature control unit, which is situated in the roof.

4. Engine Options

The powertrain has also been altered. Two different engines are available for the redesigned Vellfire: a new 2.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an 8-speed automatic and a 2.5-liter petrol hybrid engine with an eCVT transmission. Both come with the choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive systems.   The Vellfire Indian version only has a four-wheel drivetrain and a 2.5-liter petrol hybrid engine with an e-CVT transmission.

5. Enhanced Safety

The 2024 Vellfire has more safety features than the previous model like a remote parking system, lane keep assist, steering assist, and radar-based cruise control. The standard features on the Vellfire include seven airbags, brake assist, vehicle stability control (VSC), hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a 360-degree camera.

New Vellfire Car Prices

The previous model Vellfire cost Rs. 96.55 lakh (Ex-showroom) in India. Given that we expect the price of the 2024 model to be around Rs. 1cr (Ex-showroom) in India.
