Auto Expo 2023 has started. It is going smoothly and the vehicle enthusiasts are enjoying it a lot. The most in-debate segment at the Auto Expo 2023 is the EV segment. Many big companies at Auto Expo are showcasing their concept of automobiles and are launching new vehicles in the country. Maruti Suzuki, the country’s largest car manufacturing company has also taken part in the Auto Expo 2023 and has introduced its first electric car concept which is EVX, an electric SUV. The EVX is designed and developed by Suzuki, it’s a mid-side electric SUV that carries a 60kWh battery pack which will give it a driving range of up to 550km on a single full charge.

The EVX EV SUV will be Maruti’s first electric vehicle

as the company doesn’t have any EVs in its portfolio yet. The EVX is currently introduced as a concept and its launch event is said to be in 2025. The EVX is 4.3 meters in length and has bold looks like a big SUV, it has a long wheelbase, short overhangs, high ground clearance, and an aerodynamic silhouette. Its structure is based on the popular Maruti Baleno and the dimensions are 4,300mm in length, 1,800mm in width, and 1,600mm in height. Maruti will build this EV on its all-new EV-dedicated platform.

Maruti EVX Features 

 Maruti said that the EVX will have many modern features and it will give tough competition to its competitors when launched. The front of the EVX has futuristic-looking headlights and a DRL setup, instead of the side mirrors it has cameras that will display vision on the interior screens. On the sides, EVX has flush door handles and huge alloys. One thing to note is that, that the EVX is currently showcased as a concept car, it could go through many changes until it goes into production.
