The side profile is clean and enhanced by the new design of alloy wheels. The rear design is coupe-like and features Volvo’s signature long taillights.
The C40 Recharge and the XC40 Recharge have the same base and electric powertrain. A dual-motor configuration producing 408PS and 660Nm has been installed in both of them by the manufacturers. Even with the same 78kWh battery pack, the C40 Recharge’s stated range is 420km (+2km), according to WLTP thanks to its more aerodynamic design.  The C40 Recharged supports fast charging of up to 150kW, which will charge the battery from empty to 80 percent in about 40 minutes.
The Volvo C40 Recharge EV SUV comes with a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, a digital driver display, a panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charging, and an infotainment system running Google Android OS. The full list of features for the Indian version is yet to be revealed by the company.
