Tata first introduced the CNG version of the Altroz at Auto Expo 2023. Altroz is a popular hatchback of Tata and it is one of the safest cars too because it got a 5-star safety rating from Global-NCAP. Tata Altroz CNG version will come with Tata’s new dual-cylinder technology which uses less boot space by splitting the big CNG cylinder into 2 equal cylinders. The exterior and interior design of the CNG variation of the Altroz is the same as the standard petrol and diesel variant. According to some reports on the internet, the Altroz CNG will have a better suspension system. The current model of Tata altroz ground clearance is 165mm.

Altroz CNG may come equipped with iRA-connected car technology, a touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT digital tool cluster, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, cruise control, rear AC vents, and numerous other features. Safety features include several airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD), ISOFIX anchors, and much more. Altroz CNG will carry a naturally-aspirated 1.2-liter Petrol-CNG engine that produces 77PS of power and 97Nm of torque and comes mated with a single option 5-speed manual gearbox. Altroz CNG mileage is said to be around 26.49km/kg.

The price of Tata Altroz is yet to be revealed by the company. Generally, CNG cars are Rs. 50k – 1 lakh more expensive than the standard petrol car. Keeping this in mind we can say that the Tata Altroz CNG price could start from Rs. 7.07 lakh (Ex-showroom). Petrol Altroz on-road price in Delhi starts at Rs 7.33 lakh. Tata Altroz’s automatic price is Rs. 11.22 lakh. Altroz CNG is expected to launch in March 2023.
