Mercedes-Benz India is all set to launch EQB and GLB SUVs in India and the booking is already open.

The Luxury Brand Mercedes is quite active in the EV segment and now is going to launch its first 7-seater luxury EV EQB in India on 2nd December. The EQB is Mercedes’s 3rd EV to be launched this year in India. The already launched 2 EVs of Mercedes is the AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ and EQS 580 4Matic. The launch of the 7-seater luxury EV SUV EQB will look like any other Mercedes petrol or diesel car launch.

Mercedes-Benz GLB

There will be a second SUV at the launch on 2nd December which will be launching side by side with the EQB. The name of the 2nd SUV is the Mercedes GLB which is not an electric vehicle. The booking of both SUVs has already started and you can book it by visiting the Mercedes official website or by going to your nearest showroom. The minimum booking amount is Rs.1.5 Lakh.

Mercedes SUV Segment

The SUV segment of the Mercedes is strengthening more with every new SUV launch which will give a positive impact on the sales charts. Both the SUV’s EQB and GLB are 7-seater and GLB is touted as the ‘mini GLS’ the GLS was the first 7-seater SUV from the Mercedes.

The EQB will bring EV enthusiasts people in the Mercedes showrooms while the GLB will strengthen the SUV segment of the company.

Price, Features, and Design

The GLB and EQB both have a modern design to appeal to the younger generation the characters of the GLB are bulky and robust with roof rails while the design of the EQB is sleek and smooth to lower the air drag which helps in increasing the range of the vehicle. Both SUVs are equipped with many advanced functions and features.

The Price of the GLB is expected to be around Rs.50 Lakh (Ex-showroom) and the price of EQB could be around Rs.60 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
