Toyota Innova Hycross 2022

The Toyota Innova Hycross has been spotted once more before its November 2022 launch. According to reports, the Innova Hycross and Innova Crysta will both be for sale. The Innova Hycross’s powertrain will probably be a petrol hybrid. The new engine should be a more economical replacement for the diesel engine in the Innova Crysta.

One of Toyota’s top-selling products in the country since its 2016 launch is the Innova Crysta. Toyota will probably start selling the next MPV generation later this year. The Innova Hycross could come as early as 2023, with the unveiling expected for November 2022.

The new Innova Hycross, according to reports, will feature new monocoque construction, unlike the current-generation Innova Crysta, which is built on a ladder-on-frame platform. The new monocoque chassis’s use of front-wheel drive will probably result in weight reduction. According to sources, the Innova Hycross would ride on the same TNGA-C chassis as the latest Toyota Corolla. Therefore, we may anticipate Toyota to provide a variety of seating combinations with greater space management in the Innova Hycross.

A petrol-hybrid powertrain might be used in the upcoming Innova Hycross. No diesel engines are expected to be supplied with the Innova Hycross. While the information on the Innova Hycross hybrid powertrain is limited, it may use a 2.0L hybrid powertrain and provide more power and torque than the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. Innova Crysta orders are no longer being accepted by Toyota due to great demand, it should be noted. It would be fascinating to see whether Toyota is successful in converting potential purchasers of the Innova Crysta diesel to the sophisticated hybrid powertrain of the new Innova Hycross.
