A few years back the Indian car market didn’t have many sports car options but now because of the growing demand and country, many sports car manufacturing companies are focusing on India. This includes McLaren too which made its debut in the Indian car market last year. McLaren currently has only one showroom in India which is located in the popular city of Mumbai. The McLaren India profile includes 720S and GT models and this profile is growing with time. On 26 May, McLaren will extend its Indian portfolio by unveiling the new Mclaren Artura. The McLaren Artura is the British marquee’s (McLaren) first hybrid model in serial production. The first unit of the vehicle has already arrived in India and will be presented on May 26.
McLaren Artura – FeaturesClubsport seats, lane departure warning, McLaren track telemetry, E-diff, and variable drift control are a few features of the 2023 McLaren Artura. The hybrid sports mode in the vehicle can take it up to 30 kilometers at speeds of up to 130 kph on electricity-only thanks to the 7.4 kWh battery pack.
EngineUnder the tail, the McLaren Artura has a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that comes mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine, in the new McLaren Artura, produces 577 horsepower and 584 pound-feet of torque, while the electric motor adds 94 more horsepower and 225 more pound-feet of torque. Thus, the model’s overall power is 671 bhp and 804 nm of torque. The car can accelerate to 100 kmph from a complete stop in only three seconds.
