Mercedes-Benz EQE The EQE is an upcoming luxury EV sedan from Mercedes. All the details about the EQE variants are not released by the company yet. All we currently know is that, that there will be a rear-wheel-drive (EQE 350) variant of the EV which will launch first, and later an all-wheel drive and AMG models will make their debut. The shape of the EQE is very aerodynamic which helps increase its range. The design is very modern and similar to the EQS EV. The EQE has a big close piano-black grille, Mercedes new tech headlight, and a sporty bumper on the front. The side profile has new alloy wheels, dual-color ORVMs, and flush door handles. The rear of the EQE is very sporty and stylish, and the taillights are slim and connected by a long light bar.
The cabin of the EQE has the same dashboard as the EQS. It has soft-touch material all around along with multicolor ambient lighting that circles the interior. The rear seats are comfortable but not suitable for 3 adults.
The EQE carries many modern features like the ultramodern MBUX Hyper-screen, Digital Light, active ambient lighting, remote and memory parking assists, intelligent parking pilot, 360-degree camera, ADAS functions, wireless charger, multiple airbags, multi-zone temperature control, a panoramic sunroof, and a hi-fi sound system. The EQE 350 variant has a 90kWh battery pack that gives power to a single motor which makes 288bhp of power and 530 Nm of torque. According to the WLTP, the EQE gives a range of 660kmm on a single full charge and its max charging speed is 170kW. It takes 35 minutes to charge EQE from 10 to 80 percent. Some reports indicate that the high-performance version of EQE will be able to produce 671 bhp of power.
Mercedes EQE Launch Date and Price The Mercedes EQE launch date is said to be in April 2023. The exact price tag of EQE is currently unknown. We believe that it could be offered in a price range of Rs.70 – Rs.90 lakh (Ex-showroom). After launch, the EQE will rival the BMW i4 and Tesla Model 3.
