Maruti Suzuki Fronx is an upcoming SUV that is designed by the Indian auto manufacturer Maruti Suzuki. It was first introduced at the 2020 Auto Expo in New Delhi as one of the company’s upcoming cars. We have talked about Fronx in our previous articles, today we will talk about Fronx mileage figures which have been revealed before the launch of the SUV.
In the upcoming weeks, Maruti Suzuki will launch the Fronx, one of its new Nexa offerings. The bookings of the Fronx started right after its debut at Auto Expo 2023Â and since then Fronx has received over 15,000 bookings which shows that Fronx will go great in the Indian car market.
The Fronx comes with two engine options: a 1.2-litre NA petrol and a 1.0-liter booster jet petrol. The 1.2-liter engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit, and it gives a mileage of 21.79kmpl and 22.89kmpl, respectively. The 1.0-liter more powerful turbo petrol engine is available with a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter unit. This turbo engine gives a mileage of 21.5kmpl with the manual transmission and 20.01kmpl with the automated transmission.
The Maruti Fronx has a unique and modern design that is sleek and aerodynamic, with sharp lines and curves that give it a sporty and futuristic look. The car is designed as a seven-seater SUV, making it ideal for family use. The interior design of the Maruti Fronx is spacious with ample legroom and headroom for all passengers. Fronx is expected to launch at the end of April 2023 and its starting price is expected to be around Rs. 8 lakh (Ex-showroom). After the launch, Fronx will compete with the likes of Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and others.
