XUV 4OO EV: Mahindra, a well-known car brand in India is going to launch an EV car soon. In September 2022 Mahindra introduced XUV 4OO and now the company will launch an electric version of this car in January 2023.

Before the official launch some details of the car have been leaked and today, we will tell you all the details of the upcoming XUV 4OO EV.

Mahindra XUV 4OO is based on the XUV 3OO. According to a report the upcoming XUV 4OO EV will be offered in 3 variants – Base, EP, and EL.

Features of XUV 4OO EV

The electric version of XUV 4OO will have features like a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s Adreno X software, an electric sunroof, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone climate control, 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, auto-dimming IRVM, and connected car tech with over the air updates.

If we look at the safety features of the XUV 4OO EV, it carries six airbags, all-4 disc brakes, ABS with EBD, traction control, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, front parking sensors, heated ORVMs, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Mahindra will offer this SUV in 5 different colors – Arctic Blue, Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Napoli Black, and Infinity Blue with a dual-tone roof option in a Satin Copper finish.

XUV 400 EV

Mahindra XUV 4OO EV powerhouse

XUV 4OO EV will have a front-axle-mounted electric motor that produces 150bhp of power and 310Nm of torque. XUV 4OO EV will be powered by a 39.4kWh battery pack.

This SUV will do 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds which makes it the fastest SUV in the segment. The top speed of the XUV 4OO EV will be electronically limited to 150kmph.

Test Drive of XUV 4OO EV

Test drive of this vehicle will start from December 2022 in 16 cities of India – Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, Jaipur, Surat, Nagpur, Trivandrum, Nashik, Chandigarh, and Kochi. These cities will also get the XUV 4OO EV in the first phase of the launch.

XUV 4OO EV will compete with Tata Nexon EV Max, MG ZS EV, and the Hyundai Kona. The price of the XUV 4OO EV is not yet revealed by the company but we expect it to be around Rs. 18 to 23 lakhs (Ex-showroom).
