The largest range of electric vehicles is provided by Tata Motors, the country’s highest EV manufacturer. Recently, the Tiago EV was introduced, expanding the selection of electrical cars. We provide information about the current and upcoming electric vehicles from Tata Motors on this page.
The following is a list of the electric vehicles that Tata Motors has so far launched:
1. Tata Tiago EV
The Tiago EV, just launched by Tata Motors, is now the most affordable electric vehicle available in India. The Tiago EV ranges from Rs. 8.50 lakh to Rs. 11.80 lakh. Two battery packs are available for the electric hatchback: a 19.2 kWh pack with a 250 km range and a 24 kWh pack with a 315 km range. Due to its compact size, the Tiago EV is the perfect electric vehicle for city driving. Tata Motors will begin shipping the Tiago EV in January 2023.
2. Tata Tigor EV
The only relatively affordable electric sedan on the market was launched by Tata Motors in 2021 with the Tigor EV. The 26kWh battery pack that powers the Tigor EV provides it with a certified range of 306km on a single charge. Priced ex-showroom between Rs. 12.50 lakh and Rs. 13.50 lakh, the Tigor EV. It is important to remember that the Tigor EV needs an update, which will probably include new technologies like cruise control, variable regenerative braking, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The updated Tigor EV from Tata Motors is probably about to go on sale. Additionally, it might get some new amenities including enhanced telematics, leatherette seat upholstery, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers. Therefore, until the new model is available for purchase, we cannot endorse the Tigor EV.
3. Tata Nexon EV Prime
Tata Nexon EV Prime is the new name for the short-range Nexon EV. Recently, Tata Motors launched the Nexon EV Prime with a few feature upgrades. Priced ex-showroom between Rs. 15.00 lakh and Rs. 17.50 lakh, the Nexon EV Prime. With a 30.2kWh battery pack, the Nexon EV Prime has a stated range of 312 kilometers on a single charge. Considering its range and affordable operating expenses, the Nexon EV Prime is a great second car.
4. Tata Nexon EV Max
The current electric offering from Tata Motors is the Tata Nexon EV Max. With a 40.5kWh battery pack, the Nexon EV Max is said to have a 437km range. The Nexon EV Max includes features including an electric parking brake, rear disc brakes, a digital rotary gear selection, ventilated seats, and a wireless phone charger in addition to the larger battery pack. Priced ex-showroom between Rs. 18.34 lakh and Rs. 19.84 lakh, the Nexon EV Max. If most of your commute takes place inside the city’s boundaries, the Nexon EV might be used as your primary car.
