Lexus is a Japanese brand that is known for its luxury cars in India. In March 2021, Lexus introduced its LF-Z concept car and it has now come to India. The LF-Z Electrified is a BEV concept vehicle that is symbolic of Lexus’s transformation and incorporates driving performance, styling, and advanced technology. The Lexus LF-Z has a new four-wheel driving force control technology called “Direct4”.
Direct 4 separates itself from traditional four-wheel drive vehicles with an improved and incredibly flexible driving performance by using the rapid responsiveness of an electric motor’s driving force to freely control a vehicle’s four wheels. Lexus aspires to boost driving performance in a way that better connects the driver with their vehicle by merging the electrification technologies and vehicle motion control technology it has long developed.
Interior of the LF-Z
The interior of the Lexus LF-Z has an open, minimalist “Tazuna” cockpit and it is designed to create a distinctive BEV driving experience. The cabin is a more refined expression of Lexus’ human-centered philosophy, which has been the foundation of the Lexus brand since 1989. Additionally, its AI, serving as a lifestyle concierge, suggests routes and restaurant reservations among other things based on the conversations with the driver and knowledge of the driver’s preferences and behavioral tendencies. AI also improves mobility by boosting safety and security.
