BMW India revealed a more luxurious and powerful variant of its entry-level sedan, the 2 Series Gran Coupe – ‘The M Sport Pro’. The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro package adds a variety of performance upgrades that give the car greater handling and agility. The package includes M Sport suspension, M Sport brakes, and 18-inch M light alloy wheels. Together, these components help to create a more responsive and thrilling driving experience.

BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe M Sport Pro – 

 The M Sport suspension is specifically tuned to provide a sporty and dynamic ride. The suspension has a lowered ride height, stiffer springs, and anti-roll bars. This helps to reduce body roll and increase stability when taking sharp turns or cornering at high speeds. Drivers will enjoy the feeling of being connected to the road, making it feel like an extension of their body.  The M Sport brakes are designed to provide superior stopping power. The package includes larger brake discs with blue-painted calipers that not only look great but provide improved braking performance under high-speed driving conditions. The system is designed to reduce brake fade, which can occur when driving at high speeds for prolonged periods.  Inside, the M Sport Pro package transforms the cabin into a sporty and luxurious space. Features upgrade-wise, the new M Sport Pro variation has a head-up display, BMW gesture control, and a 10-speaker arrangement with a total output of 205 watts. The inside boasts an M-specific Anthracite roof lining, a leather steering wheel with black stitching, paddle shifters, M badging, and illuminated Boston interior trim finishes, as well as a contrasting theme.

Powertrain – 

The new M Sport Pro model is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo petrol engine paired with a seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch gearbox. This engine is rated at 189bhp and 280Nm of peak torque. With this updated edition, the car also gains launch control and a shift-by-wire gear selector switch.

M Sport Pro Price – 

The M Sport Pro variant is priced in India at Rs. 45.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Its price is positioned between the 220i M Sport and 220d M Sport models.
