Ford was rumored to import CBU vehicles like the Mustang Mach-E and others as it was no longer available on the Indian market. It has only just come to pass. The likelihood of a Ford Bronco being imported through CBU was slim. However, it hasn’t prevented Indians from obtaining one. Ford Bronco was recently seen on Indian soil.
The model spotted on Indian roads was not a Ford Bronco Sport, it was the top-spec version of the SUV. On home soil, Ford introduced two Bronco models. One is the tough Bronco model, which comes in 2-door and 4-door variations. The Ford Bronco Sport is the second model on the list. This is less expensive, lacks a detachable roof, uses a different design language, and is obviously smaller.
On a Bronco, the horse badge on the tailgate is galloping while on the Mustang, it is sprinting. The cause of it is rather obvious. One is made to move quickly in a straight line, while the other is made to handle rocky terrain. The Bronco has a spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, however, the Bronco Sport has one hidden beneath the boot.
The Ford Bronco Sport is not available in a 2-door version. Americans refer to it as a “2-door” since they don’t view the tailgate as a door the way we do. It was impossible to tell if it was an LHD or RHD vehicle because of a heavier tint on the glass region. It was discovered somewhere in Coimbatore after being carried into India by Carnet from Dubai. It had a huge road presence because of its enormous size.
The price of the base 2-Door Ford Bronco trim starts at Rs. 26.23 lakh ($32,295). The 4-door version price starts at Rs. 29.6 lakh ($36,445). The price of the top-spec Raptor model starts at Rs. 59.92 lakh ($73,780). This version gets the option of a 2.3L ecoboost 4-cylinder engine and a 2.7L ecoboost V6 engine.
You can choose between part-time 4X4 or full-time 4X4. Transmission options include a 7-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. 16″ wheels with 255/70R16 tires come standard on base versions, while top-of-the-line 3712.5 R17 truck tires are mounted on 17″ wheels for the Raptor.
