Kia Motors, a multinational, South Korean car manufacturing company, has recently updated its Kia Seltos Facelift in India. Kia Seltos is a very popular mid-size SUV in the country and it was the debut car of Kia Motors in India. Kia Seltos has received a minor refresh which includes an improved suspension for better ride quality, some new features, and two new colors. The Facelift word is added to a particular car when it receives some minor changes or minor updates in terms of design, features, or mechanics. Some people get confused between the terms facelift and refresh but actually, they both mean the same thing which is that the car has gone through some minor changes or upgrades.
The Kia Seltos’ minor changes include an updated suspension, and two new colors – Imperial Blue and Sparkling Silver. Kia Seltos Black is the highest-selling color of the SUV. Safety features include – six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), brake assist, hill start assist, a 360-degree camera (with front and rear parking sensors), and rear disc brakes.
Kia Seltos is available with three engine options – a 1.5-liter petrol, a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel unit. These engines produce 115PS/144Nm, 140PS/242Nm, and 115PS.250Nm of power and torque respectively. All three engines get a 6-speed manual transmission as standard plus the petrol unit also gets the option of a 6-speed iMT and a CVT, the turbo-petrol gets the option of a 7-speed DCT, and the diesel unit gets a 6-speed automatic. Kia Seltos’s average is up to 20.4kmpl with the diesel engine and up to 16.5kmpl with the petrol unit.
